Rebecca Colson has represented both men and women in all types of family law matters since becoming licensed to practice law in 1995.  She embarked on her legal career in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1991 as a law clerk for a Memphis law firm.  After earning her Juris Doctor and practicing law in Tennessee several years, Rebecca relocated back to her home area of North Alabama and practiced family law in the Huntsville/Decatur area.  Thereafter, life circumstances brought her to the Northeast Florida coast and Fernandina Beach where she has continued to practice in the family law area. 

 

          The practice of family law is not just a career choice for Rebecca, it is a passion.  Throughout her expansive legal career, she realized that family law issues were very important to her.  In her own personal life, Rebecca has experienced many of the issues that her clients are experiencing. This has enabled her to fully understand and comprehend not only the legal issues in a family law case, but the emotional issues a person and their family experience during a divorce and in life thereafter. 

 

          Rebecca established Colson Family Law, P.A., in order to provide a more dedicated, individualized and customized representation of family law matters for her clients.
